You might not know it by looking at me, but I am obsessed with Bigfoot. There, I said it. Upon hearing such an odd confession, you might conclude that I believe Bigfoot creatures are real. You would be wrong to do so, however. I do not believe Bigfoot creatures are real in much the same way I do not believe that gods are real (see Why I Am an Atheist). When I say I am obsessed with Bigfoot, I mean that I find the topic of Bigfoot fascinating and cannot seem to get enough of it.
I'm not sure why I find Bigfoot far more interesting than I find aliens (ancient or otherwise). It might have something to do with my lack of interest in anything related to space, space travel, NASA, photos of planets, and that sort of thing. And don't get me started on the billionaires lining up to literally burn their money via space travel when they could be improving the earthly infrastructure from which they have benefitted! The paranormal stuff like ghosts falls somewhere in between in that I find it more interesting than aliens but still less interesting than Bigfoot.
